Star of the North Chinese
Purebred rescue organizations
are made up of longtime dog experts who care deeply about their breeds. They know first hand about breeds’ strengths and weaknesses, health issues, and temperaments. They know the best grooming and training methods to use with their breeds. These dog fanciers are adept at analyzing, rehabilitating, and placing dogs in appropriate homes.
Purebred rescue organizations do their utmost to make the best match for both the dog and the adopting family. They carefully screen prospective homes and sometimes make follow-up inquiries and visits.
If you are interested in owning a purebred dog and do not intend to show your dog,
you may consider giving a rescue dog a second chance for a safe and loving home. With a little love and attention, rescue dogs can bond very quickly with their new owners. Rescue can be a wonderful way to get a purebred dog who’s already housebroken, had some training, is spayed or neutered, and is current on its shots.
